Men’s Arts Council (MAC) of Phoenix Art Museum was founded in January 1967 to support the programs and activities of Phoenix Art Museum. Admission to the council is by invitation; members organize distinctive annual events and volunteer in a variety of ways at the museum.
MAC’s efforts help make annual contributions to the museum’s operating budget, sponsor exhibitions, and fund endowments—including the Western American Art Endowment Fund and the Men’s Arts Council Sculpture Endowment Fund—that support acquisitions, exhibitions, and art education.
